Would that all were prophets and that the Lord would put his spirit upon them.

It’s an honor to share this planet with everyone. There are so many people with so many points of view in so many levels of development. Different people go through similar experiences but in the end, some are wiser, happier, fulfilled people while others falter, shrink and seem to decay. Why? Can having a relationship with God help us navigate life’s experiences? Help us enjoy our blessings and endure our storms? In my experience, people that have a real relationship with God are called prophets. There are prophets that lead like Abraham, Jacob and Moses. And there are prophets that follow but are guided by God in their own lives. In Jeremiah’s day there were many prophets warning the people, the greatest prophet in that day was a woman named Huldah. I notice from Adam to today the message is consistent and even though different principles are emphasized at different times the whole of the gospel message is unchanging. Prophets are unified in purpose and all teach the same Gospel truths showing us God is the same, yesterday, today and forever. The following story teaches a valuable lesson… Numbers 11:26 – 29, “But there remained two of the men in the camp, the name of the one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad: and the spirit rested upon them; and they were of them that were written, but went not out unto the tabernacle: and they prophesied in the camp. And there ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp. And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, one of his young men, answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them. And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? would God that all the Lord’s people were prophets, and that the Lord would put his spirit upon them!” Eldad and Medad were prophesying and with God’s blessing and authority, the Holy Ghost, gave them utterance. The people didn’t know what to make of this. They were afraid God would punish them or Moses would be angered or feel he had competition. Moses knew God’s point of view and clearly stated it. The message to us is God wants all to be prophets, to have a close relationship with Him. Leaders and followers all need to have revelation from God. Another observation is these prophets received God’s truth from the Holy Ghost. Peter talked more about the importance of the Holy Ghost… 2 Peter 1:21, “For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” God wants all men to be prophets. He wants us to have a relationship with Him and for the Spirit of God to bless us with God’s truth. God doesn’t want us to be deceived. He wants us to have his truth so we can live the best life. Peter spends all of 2 Peter chapter 2 warning us not to follow false prophets. We don’t want to be false prophets and we don’t want to follow false prophets. How can we be true prophets and follow true prophets? Is this possible? Is it necessary?

I found something FISHY, an email to flag@whitehouse.gov

Dear Statists and Modern Progressives who addict weak minded people to entitlements, are destroying the United States Economy and leading the country to Marxism and Tyranny,

I found something that is fishy and that is your smelly socialized government run health care bill. I don't like it and I do not support it.

When has the government EVER produced anything or solved a problem? Let me check. Look at the post office, social security, medicaire, medicaide, cars for clunkers, General Motors, AIG, Fanny Mae, Freddy Mac.... FAIL! FAIL! FAIL!

When have you actually solved a problem instead of turning it into a bigger disaster? NEVER!.

WE THE PEOPLE solve the problems. You, the incompetent Government, are destroying our nation. We the People see it and we know you cannot see past your veil of stupidity but WE THE PEOPLE know we will be the ones who solve the problems YOU CREATED.

WE ARE MAD AS HELL AND WE'RE NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!!!!

We the People and FREE MARKETS will solve the health care crisis. All Americans, even the poor, can pay cash for health care in a free market system. That is the system that would make prices competitive. Something about asking how much something will cost, tends to do keep cost down. Americans only need catastrophic health insurance. WE THE PEOPLE, our churches, our charities and our families can take care of our own poor. Thank you very much. WE DO NOT NEED ANY MORE OF YOUR INCOMPETENT MEDDLING.

Just in case you missed it. I oppose socialized, government run health care because it is bad for the poor and the needy and all those who are now addicted to entitlements. These people are the ones who will suffer as you have to ration health care once a single payer system is in place.

Listen or be voted OUT,
Deb Milam

Why the email? I would not have believed it if I didn't see it for myself.

This paragraph is found at http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/Facts-Are-Stubborn-Things/

The second paragraph below the first video states
"There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov."

This reminds me of the KGB and the Hitler Youth who reported family, friends and neighbors to the Nazi's who jailed and put many who were accused by others to death.

We get at least one creepy thing a day from this White House.

If they were just trying to get information so they can create a viable argument, all they have to do is search the internet to see what people are saying. This is another lame attempt to intimidate Americans who uphold constitutional freedom as the founders intended it to be.

Our State of Emergency is really a State of Stupidity

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger sent out an email stating he declared a California fiscal state of "emergency." But, Glenn Beck said it best, that California isn't in a state of emergency, it is in a state of STUPIDITY. California and our Nation are governed by moronic freaks who want tax payer dollars to fund entitlements and useless "feel good" projects that soothe the consciences of narcissistic sheeple. Common Sense is dead or run off and left California and our nation.

Long gone is the idea that the private sector can solve any problem better, faster and cheaper than the government. Gone is the culture that organizes a bake sale and privately pays for the things we want to accomplish. Gone is the idea that tax payer money is a sacred gift, representative of each person's might, mind and strength, their time, effort and their life. Legislatures spend with no regard for consequence.

We are past due for a massive RECALL election. We need an oath like the 912candidates oath to help us identify candidates who will hold public money sacred, do away with fascist control over businesses and uphold the rule of law.

Gone is the golden rule. Our new media saturated culture has created a portion of the population who objectify each other to the point that they see each other as items to be consumed and not as like beings. Politicians have covered themselves with a veil of stupidity so thick, they cannot see that we the people who voted them into office as more than herds of celebrity worshiping gapers who are so busy with network television that we ignore politics. They tell themselves we will never notice Sacramento's or DC's marxist antics. And to all politicians, that may have been true in days gone by, but not any more.

We are waking up from our stupor. We are regaining our knack for public virtue. We the people are taking back our country and demand that the constitution and bill of rights be restored as the law of the land. We have our eye on you and we don't like what we see. Fear and Tremble, WE THE PEOPLE are through with progressives no matter what party they affiliate with. Out with marxists that call themselves democrats who grab power and behave like despots. OUT with progressives calling themselves moderate republicans who have no backbone, stand for NOTHING and fail to follow the will of the people and lead the country on a path that only leads to tyranny.

As we cut all unnecessary items out of our federal and state budgets, the first cut must be politicians who ignore the rule of law and national sovereignty to follow a "living constitution" surely to bloom into nationwide tyranny. We must replace these goons with men of virtue who uphold the constitution, bill of rights and who remember they work for we the people.

Mitt twitted these articles this morning. This current rhetoric is an attempt to intimidate and poison public opinion. Patriots are not intimidated and know compromising our constitutional freedom is a ridiculous notion.

The current ruling in CA provides equal rights to all people, so the argument for equality is invalid. The May 2008 ruling created an elevated class of people who's rights dominated and controlled the activities, religious beliefs, and opinions of all other citizens, so it was not equal rights for all.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/05/28/AR2009052803573.html?hpid=topnews

We were not the only group supporting family values. One example is http://www.tfp.org

Marriage becomes a constitutional issue when law abiding citizens are embroiled in lawsuits denying them their freedom of religion, etc. So what we did last year in several states did work to preserve some constitutional freedom.

It is interesting that even when Brigham Young warned that the constitution was being shredded during his life time, the church did not stand as a unit and respond. Even Ezra Taft Benson did not organize an effort for freedom as we did last year.

Our constitution is eroding at a more rapid pace today. With transnationalism, empathetic jurisprudence, centralized power, corruption and etc.

Our situation is excitingly similar to that of the American Revolution. A few "get it" and fight for freedom. But most are pursuing their own interest, have no clue what is happening, don't care, are fearful or feel inadequate. Some fight against freedom because they are indoctrinated falsely, seek the praise of men or want control over others. And a few work to exploit those who fight for freedom for their own gain. Some things never change.

Patriots! Wake up and Fight the Tyrants

I started my political life as a democrat. Jimmy Carter became president and like many people who were paying attention, I became a republican. I haven't supported the republican party since Newt's contract with America (and now that he has made a commercial promoting cap and trade, I am even wondering if he really cares about our freedom.) After Reagan I couldn't find anyone I wanted to vote for. I did not understand. Where had all the leaders gone?

Recently, I discovered I had the wrong political paradigm. That discovery did not make any leaders jump out of the walls and onto my ballot, but now I understand why I don't enthusiastically support any republicans or democrats. I have recently learned that many politicians, educators and journalists are statists or modern progressives. Now when I look at my revulsion at the directions both parties have been taking, I see they are actually going in the same direction. Both parties, democrat and republican, are progressive. I am still a registered republican, but I do not define myself as a republican. I have learned that I am a constitutional conservative with the philosophies, principles and values of the Founding Fathers. That is why I do not like the democrats or the republicans. They have been destroying all that I value.

I can define my political mission today. I defend the liberty defined in the Constitution and Bill of Rights against tyrants who want to enslave America. I am not a republican against democrats. I am not a democrat against republicans. I am a free woman against tyrants.

Why do I choose the word tyrants? Because the end result of progressive legislation is our loss of liberty, hence tyranny. I found this quote which accurately defines the changes in America I have seen in my lifetime. Former secretary of agriculture, Ezra Taft Benson relates an experience he had in the 1960's. “I have talked face to face with the godless communist leaders. It may surprise you to learn that I was host to Mr. Khrushchev for a half day when he visited the United States, not that I’m proud of it. I opposed his coming then, and I still feel it was a mistake to welcome this atheistic murderer as a state visitor. But, according to President Eisenhower, Khrushchev had expressed a desire to learn something of American Agriculture — and after seeing Russian agriculture I can understand why. As we talked face to face, he indicated that my grandchildren would live under communism. After assuring him that I expected to do all in my power to assure that his and all other grandchildren will live under freedom he arrogantly declared in substance:
‘You Americans are so gullible. No, you won’t accept communism outright, but we’ll keep feeding you small doses of socialism until you’ll finally wake up and find you already have communism. We won’t have to fight you. We’ll so weaken your economy until you’ll fall like overripe fruit into our hands.’” (Ezra Taft Benson “Our Immediate Responsibility.” Devotional Address at Brigham Young University. circa 1968.”) Benson's grand children are grown and the way I see it, Krushchev's words are quickly coming to pass today. As Mark Levin states, schools teach statism to students. Our economy is weakened by tax and spend politicians. Where does the money go? It just disappears and the problems are never solved. I can't be the only one who sees this happening. When a program actually works the program is discontinued. And by the way those programs that do work often cost very little or even save us money. When we the people show we can solve our own problems and govern ourselves that is unacceptable and must be stopped or regulated out of viability.

Democrats fighting republicans is a diversion from the real battle. Now, I work to remove from office those who are really working to take away our freedoms. They are politicians in both parties. They ignore the constitution. They ignore the bill of rights. Our political "leaders" swear an oath to uphold the Constitution and then many ignore it altogether and say it is a living document (which in politician speak means it is just a piece of paper with no police power so I can ignore it.) Well I am the police power behind the constitution and I require you to abide by it and uphold it or I will vote you out of office. I am looking for candidates who uphold the constitution and share the principles and values of the Founding Fathers, in other words, I will only vote for 912 candidates.

I couldn't define national political events and my own political views accurately because instead of learning to define my beliefs and see the world as it is; I was busy pursuing my happiness. How selfish and stupid of me. I hope I am not waking up too late. This tearing away at our constitution has been going on for at least 100 years. Why didn't I see it? I was distracted. I fell for the divide and conquer trick.

I have joined the 912 project at http://the912project.com and the http://912candidates.org/. I visited the national center for constitutional studies, at nccs.com and there I ordered the 5000 year leap, books on the early patriots and other learning materials. I am reading the books suggested by Glenn Beck about the modern progressive movement entitled, "American Progressivism," "Woodrow Wilson and the Roots of Modern Liberalism," by Ronald J. Pestritto and "The Forgotten Man," by Amity Shlaes. I am getting to know the real enemies of our country and our freedom. Modern Progressives or what Mark Levin calls, statists, tear away at the constitution and our freedoms.

What have I learned? Democrats and Republicans need to stop blaming each other. Time to wake up and unite against those who are destroying our God given rights, our freedoms and our economy. If we think the fight is against the dems or against the reps we will certainly loose the war for our freedom.

California Leaders Wanted: Spineless need not apply

Michelle Malkin just posted an article on California GOP

http://michellemalkin.com/2009/05/04/what-george-will-missed-the-decrepit-state-of-the-california-gop/

I agree with Michelle that the California GOP has a lack of values and principles. The California GOP stands with the California Democratic party for modern progressivism, a cannibalistic system of government, as we see by what is happening with the California's over regulated, bankrupt economy.

I also think, California has many of the same political and economic problems as Great Britain. Great Britain has a majority of its population employed by the government or on the dole. So the Brits vote for the party that keeps their livelihood and has bankrupted and ruined their country. In California, we have a democratic party that has addicted a narcissistic populace to entitlements and so the narcissists vote for the party that pretends it cares about the needy but in reality keeps the narcissistic voters enslaved to a welfare lifestyle. This system of wasting tax payer money to buy elections has bankrupted a once healthy economy. Along with entitlements, over regulated business drives business owners, people with values and principles, out of the state. Progressives hold power because they hand out the goodies. To the California GOP who see the game and are stupid enough to think they need to also be players…

UH! NO!

NOT IF YOU WANT MY VOTE!

Any smart parent knows that for a kid to grow up you have to kick him out of the house and let him earn his own way. Kids don’t like it at first but they eventually see the wisdom and thank their parents for the growing up experience. With the exception of a very few in California, most people have what it takes to solve their own problems and make a living and create their own happy life. To the California GOP I say get out of the “standing for stupidity” business. Get a backbone. Stop voting with the democrats who stand for regulating everything we do. Give all Californians their freedom. Let Californians work and earn their own way and seek their own happiness and stop addicting them and enslaving them with entitlements. Use the constitution as a guide and you will succeed. Any other progressive path you choose will result in failure.

It's OK now, no need to panic

Are you a right winged terrorist nut job? Are you experiencing a "heightened level of extremist paranoia"? Well, calm down. The main stream media says all our woes are over and we are headed for a better day. Time to smile at your neighbor and go out and spend money.

And to all you who are buying every gun on every shelf in every gun shop, ignore the facts please. Struggling or bankrupt local governments are limiting new hiring and overtime for police, sheriff and other law enforcement. Local corrections are releasing tens of thousands of inmates from local prisons. The credit ratings of local governments are downgraded in all states, nationwide. State governments also report that tens of thousands of inmates are released from state prisons to cut costs. The DHS says you are crazy to worry about all that. You are a terrorist if you want to “increase weapons and ammunition stockpiling.” The media and our professors tell us, just because guns were invented for defense and protection does not mean you should use them to protect yourself and your family. Those bad, misguided, people who fought the American Revolution protected themselves and look! now they are all dead and we have forgotten them. What good did it do? Stop being so silly. Things are great. The economy is looking up. See, spending is up.

From where I am, I see a government spending more money than can be earned in several generations, taking over companies and huge percentages of the economy; scaring investors with more regulation and ever changing policy. That has never worked to make the economy more sound.

The mainstream media looks to find one example in the history of the world somewhere. They are still looking. "Oh, here, the New Deal, and all the policies that turned what should have been a short lived economic downturn into a great depression. Then they make us feel like that can't happen again; especially now when we are so smart. They are sure this recession will right itself any day now and everyone will have jobs in no time. Spend money. We don't need to prepare, pay off debt, store food, water or buy evil guns. :-) Be happy. Have faith. Darwin was right, we have evolved.

The mainstream media asks, are we actually naive enough to believe that the founding father's thought that liberty described in the constitution and the bill of rights means that the government should fear the people and not the other way around?

I agree with George Washington when he said, "Firearms are second only to Constitution in importance; they are the people's liberty's teeth."

The mainstream media counters, George Washington said that. Washington had wooden teeth. He didn't take care of his teeth. He couldn't have known what he was talking about. Put away your weapons. Stop saving for a rainy day. Just be thankful for all the wonderful things congress is doing to make a new and improved collective. We can just sit around all day watching television. The welfare check is in the mail. Comrade, that sounds like the good life.
